Hi, I'm Tuan-Anh. I build scalable infrastructure and write about the complexities of distributed systems. My focus is on reducing cognitive load for engineering teams through better tooling and clearer documentation.
Background
With over a decade of experience in systems engineering, I've spent the last 5 years focusing on Kubernetes orchestration and developer platform engineering. I believe that good infrastructure should be invisible, and good documentation should be inevitable.
Previously, I was a Senior SRE at TechCorp, where I helped migrate a monolithic architecture to microservices, reducing deployment time from days to minutes. Before that, I worked on high-frequency trading platforms, learning the hard way that milliseconds matter.
Current Focus
Currently, I am exploring the intersection of AI agents and infrastructure automation. I'm particularly interested in how we can safely sandbox non-deterministic workflows without compromising on security or performance.
When I'm not coding or writing, I'm usually hiking in the Pacific Northwest or tinkering with my home lab server rack.
